Choosing a size that's too small to read
Text needs to hold up at thumbnail size on a feed, not just at full zoom. Roughly 5% of the image's shortest side is a solid starting point.
Placing text over busy detail
Small or thin text disappears against a cluttered background. Pick a calmer area of the image, or use a bold weight and strong contrast color.
Ignoring contrast between text and image
Dark text on a dark photo (or light on light) is hard to read on any screen. Light text on dark areas, dark text on light areas — check both at a glance and at full size.

Can I add more than one line or block of text?
Yes — add a heading and a smaller caption, or stack multiple short lines, adjusting size and position for each independently.
Will the text scale if I resize the image afterward?
No — text is rendered into the pixels at export time at a fixed size. If you need a different output size, set that size first, then add and size the text to match.
Can I undo or edit the text after placing it?
Yes, while you're still in the tool — text stays adjustable until you export. Once exported, the text is flattened into the image and can't be edited as text again.
