Choosing a DPI too low for the intended use

150 DPI is fine for on-screen viewing, but text and fine lines look soft when printed or zoomed. Use 300 DPI for anything headed to paper.

Not compressing the resulting images

High-DPI exports of text-heavy or detailed pages can be surprisingly large. Run them through Compress before sharing or publishing.

Expecting selectable text in the output

The export is a flat raster image — any text in the original PDF becomes pixels, not selectable or searchable text.

Can I export just specific pages instead of the whole document?

The tool renders every page of the PDF you provide. To get only certain pages, prepare a PDF containing just those pages first, then convert that.

Does this work with scanned PDFs as well as text documents?
